Five for Friday

I really need to update the blog with all the summer happenings including the beach but I have no time!!!  The kids are with me 24/7 and when I have a free moment from them I am working on the Fund.  I plan on updating soon.

So for Five for Friday...
1. We have spent lots of time outdoors lately. It's starting to get too hot to be outside if you're not in a pool. We are in a pool all the time as well but I can't ever take pictures because I am afraid one of my children would drown.


2. I stopped by the Forrest Sibling Playroom at Le Bonheur the other day. I am so proud of this little guy and all that he inspired.

3. I had some cute helpers helping me with the Unit Appreciation project at Le Bonheur. These goody bags went to the staff in the Labratory.

4. We met some friends at the Botanic Gardens the other day to feed the fish. Honestly, I think those things are gross and would rather never do this but the kids get a big kick out of it.

5. Austin had his last tee ball game on Tuesday night. We loved watching him play. He was quite a hustler and really loved playing.
David was the first base coach and always had quite a crew "helping" him.
We had quite a fan base as well.  Usually David's parents and my mom would come to the games.

Happy birthday Uncle Matt!  We love you and can't wait to see you in a few days.  We hope you are having the best day ever!  Come back and play legos with us soon.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best dad I know.  To say we are blessed by David is an understatement...he truly is the the most incredible father.  Thank you for loving us each and every day.  We love you!

We are also blessed by an amazing Dingdad who is always teaching us and loving us.  This ride called life is way more fun because you are in it.

Happy Father's Day to my dad as well.  We are thankful for you.

Five for Friday

1.  We had VBS at our church this past week.  I was Austin's JK teacher and really enjoyed it.  The theme was "A Knightly Tale" so on Thursday I dressed up as a princess with my royal knights.

2. A boy bit Maggie on the face while she was in the nursery at VBS. It broke my heart but she was fine. She bounced back super fast from it.

3. We spent last week at Santa Rosa Beach and it was wonderful. I have a few posts to do on it but this was my favorite picture of the kids.

4. We were able to go on a special date night to celebrate David's birthday. It was so nice to get out and spend quality time together. We really believe in date nights and know that it is so important for our marriage.

5. Tonight David and I are headed on a date night to hear Jim Gaffigan at Tunica. He is hilarious and I seriously need some laughter right now...long week.  This is one of our favorite clips of his.  4 kids!

We spent time flying kites, catching crabs, swimming, building sand castles, and just being together.
David and I went on a date while down there to celebrate his birthday.  

The token pictures of the beach on the day you have to say goodbye. The night before we were heading out friends of ours asked if Maggie and I would like to fly home on their personal jet. I said yes faster than you can imagine. Maggie is ok at traveling but not the best so this was a much better way to travel.
