One way we are using the money from the fund (and other friends and helpers) is to make Care Packages for the PICU. We made our first one last week for an infant baby boy. I loved putting the Care Package together and praying over this special family who is going through one of the most difficult times of their life. The package included: magazines, 3 children's books, roll of coins for the vending machine, chapstick, hand sanitizer, stuffed animal to keep in the bed, journal, blanket, socks, a decorative card for his/her name to put on the bed, snacks, and water. We are also working with Child Life Services to purchase things they need in the PICU. We are thrilled to help LeBonheur and give back to a place that gave us so much.
