Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Christmas programs

We had lots of Christmas programs this year with 2 boys in school and involved in church choir.  We enjoyed watching the boys perform in all of them.

Our church one was first at the beginning of December.DSC_0178
Both boys were shepherds. Austin was next to the little boy in camo (towards the left) and Miller was 5 to the right of Austin.  DSC_0173 IMG_1874 Maggie enjoyed watching the performance. First Day of school

The boys both had their first day of school today.  I can't believe that I now have two kids in school.  They were both really excited to get started.

Miller has 2 teachers this year because they are team teaching.  Austin had Mrs. Griesbeck when he was in PK and we loved her so we are thrilled to have her and Mrs. Hayden.

After their half day we went and enjoyed a cupcake and cookie together.
Maggis started going to "school" at our church this summer.  She loves being there with her little friends.  I will now have 1 entire day without kids.  I don't even remember what that is like anymore. =)

Miller's last day

To say we have LOVED Miller's school would be an understatement.  It truly is the most wonderful place for children to learn, be nurtured, loved and cared for.  The teachers are remarkable and angels here on Earth to love on children.  I am amazed by them everytime I come in contact with them.  Miller has been at this school for 2 years and I have seen him grow in so many ways...academically...socially ...confidence...security...personality...it has been such a joy to watch.  We were sad to say goodbye but it's time for him to join his big brother at his school.

The three amigos.

They have such a precious friendship.

The lead teacher, Mrs. Debbie. She is incredible!
The assistant...Ms. Cala.  She is moving to Chicago so I am sad that Maggie won't have her when she turns 3.

The whole class...they each have my heart!
They gave Miller a book and each signed it.  Such a treasure for him to keep. Untitled
If you are looking for a precious school in Memphis for ages 18 months to 6 than please contact me.  It is the best!

End of the Year School Stuff

Austin loved all the activities at the end of the school year.  Field day was a big hit and he especially loved tug of war.

Sweet Miller goes to all of Austin's events and is so eager to be at the same school as him next year.IMG_9616
Once again his school did a wonderful end of the year program.  We are so thankful for his school and the precious friends he has made over the past years.

Yaya and Gigi came to watch him in his program as well.  IMG_0150 IMG_0148 IMG_0153
We love you Austin and are so proud of the boy you are growing up to be.  Your heart is full of love and joy and your eagerness to learn is infectious.  I truly can't wait to walk beside you as you learn more about yourself and others.  I love you buddy!  IMG_0158
