Five for Friday

1.  We loved celebrating our biggest on Wednesday!  For some reason the fact that he holds up all 5 fingers when asked how old he is is rocking my world.  5 seems so old!  We had a great day though and truly enjoyed celebrating his precious life.


 2. These 2 and their amazing imaginations. On this particular day they were pretending to be rock climbers climbing up the tallest mountain to rock climb up the last part.  Mind you it was 80 degrees outside and they were dressed for winter.    
They pretend often that they are firefighters fighting fires.  Our sweet babysitter took this one.


3.  I did a little photo shoot with Maggie in her new Matilda Jane clothes.  I truly could just eat her up. 

4.  Sweet girl had to get tubes last Friday.  She has had 7 ear infections in 5 months so it was time to do something else.  She has done well since the surgery.  Hoping this really helps her ears.  (I think these 2 are smitten with each other.)

Beautiful afternoon

Last Sunday when it was beautiful outside (unlike today where its rainy and cold) we took the kids to meet David's parents for a walk on the greenline in Memphis.


We had such a nice time. Austin spent time throwing rocks, tromping through the grass, playing with sticks, and doing a lot of running.  He probably ran a mile.






When he wasn't running he was riding on Dingdad's back.  He took quite a few breaks and enjoyed riding on his back.  He only wanted Dingdad though, the rest of us just wouldn't do.


Miller enjoyed riding in the wagon and trying to drink out of his sippy cup.  I'm not sure how successful he is at drinking but he sure does love the way it feels on his teeth.  He just enjoys being along for the ride.


David and his mom enjoyed walking and talking about all the things going on in their life.


And I enjoyed taking pictures of my sweet family.  So blessed.

He's WALKING!!!

Austin is walking. He took a few steps last week and is taking more every day. He is still very wobbly but getting stronger each day. This video was taken on my birthday (21st). What a fun birthday present!
