1. I gave David silhouettes of the kids for Christmas. The lady who did them was able to do a silhouette of Forrest as well. It makes me smile every time I look at them.
2. Our Saturday mornings now consist of this and I love it! Austin is really enjoying playing as well.
3. So thankful for good friends and fun nights out.
4. Pigtails...I just love it and so does she!
5. The sweetest big brother in the world!
Happy Friday friends!
Comfort and Joy
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Miller's Piano Recital
Miller has been taking piano lessons since September so in December he had his first recital. We practiced at the church where he takes that morning and he did a great job.
That night he dressed in his Christmas best and performed his little heart out. We were so proud of him. He was the youngest one performing and did so well introducing himself and playing his piece.
Here he is with his teacher Ms. Molly.
He was the first to perform and then sat so nicely through all the other performances. His siblings didn't sit so nicely.
Here is a video of him playing. It was only 9 notes but he did great!

Thanksgiving
Backtracking so I can get caught up.
We had a nice Thanksgiving. Our cousins were supposed to come in town and unfortunately got the flu so couldn't make it so it ended up being a quiet time with just the grandparents. David and I hosted this year and we were in charge of the turkey. It made me nervous and we definitely learned some better techniques afterwards because ours took a long time and seemed a little dry. It turned out better at Christmas.
We started the holiday with our family Thanksgiving Dinner down at Le Bonheur feeding all the families. It was a great way to remember your blessings and to be grateful for what you have.
Our family continued our tradition of the Thankful tree.
We started Thanksgiving morning with a family breakfast and then watched the Macy's Day Parade together.
The boys received Nerf Guns for a special treat so we spent a lot of time shooting each other.
After Thanksgiving we spent time writing our Christmas lists and then went to get our tree and decorate the house.

Five for Friday
Five for Friday...Long time gone...
I am truly so sorry that it has been so long since I posted. I don't have time to sit down and post anymore between 3 kids and the Forrest Spence Fund but it is on my to-do list. I really want to get caught up so I am going to try and work on that. I just need 30 hours in a day...don't we all?!?
I decided to do a Five for Friday to start and then hope next week I can post some more stuff from the holidays and start playing catch up.
1. This is what is taking so much of time...
Mark your calendars for this awesome event if you live in the Midsouth area.
2. Today is the 100th day of school so all the Kindergarten children dressed up like they are 100 years old. I love it...he is the cutest 100 year old man!
3. My teenage mutant ninja turtle lover...he is so much fun right now! Love seeing his little personality shine.
4. Have I said how much I love having a girl...she loves to dress up like a princess, asks for pigtails everyday, and tells me I am her best friend. It's so much fun!
5. She is also watching her brothers and seems to be imitating some things they play with...tea party with a gun close by. She was serious about protecting those babies. =)
