Austin spent all day Saturday with Dingdad. Ron picked up Austin early in the morning so they could fly to Missouri for Dino pancakes. They then flew back to Memphis, spent the morning around the hangar, went to lunch with the airport buddies, took a nap at the hangar, and then headed home in the afternoon. He loved every minute of it. Austin is semi obsessed with airplanes so he loves flying with Dingdad.
Miller not only has crawling down like a champ, but he is also pulling up. He is a fast crawler and can pull up pretty quickly as well. He hasn't mastered getting down once he's up though. We have had quite a few falls trying to get down.
Everyone talks about one of their favorite stages is when the baby can sit up on their own but aren't mobile yet because you can put them on a blanket with their toys and they will stay and play. My kids are in that stage for about a week, if that. Once they can sit up on their own, they are off. Miller is causing me to be more tired than Austin (hard to imagine). He is into everything. He giggles when you say no and move him away from whatever it is he shouldn't be playing with. Austin gets frustrated with him because he wants all of Austin's things.
It is a very fun age though. He is still super sweet and just smiles at you when he is on the move.
This may be too much information to put on the internet but I can't help it. All moms will understand this. I have lost all privacy. This picture is my view from the toilet.
Some pictures of my beautiful 2nd born. He is such a sweetheart with the most precious heart. He is a pleaser by nature and loves to help mommy and Miller. He loves his daddy like nothing I have ever seen and wants to be with him all the time. He is protective and loving of his little brother which makes me smile numerous times a day. He has more energy than I have ever seen. I truly wonder sometimes if he has forgotten how to walk because he runs everywhere. He goes full throttle all the time until he crashes at nap and nighttime. He loves his blanket and wants to carry it wherever he goes. He loves trains, planes, and trucks (and anything that makes noise). He is all boy and I love it. I can't imagine my life without him in it.
Last Saturday David and I had the privilege to babysit C.C. and Kate while their parents went out to dinner with some friends. Everyone had such a fun time. We ate pizza, played, read stories, and then went to bed. Austin woke up the next morning extra early looking for C.C. and Kate. He was really sad to know that they weren't still here (their parents picked them up in the night and took them home). We are so thankful for precious friendships for our boys.
One of Austin's favorite things is to run into Miller's room when he wakes up from a nap and play with him in his crib. I took some pictures and videos of the two of them the other day. It warms my heart to see them play together.

David and I are always commenting that we can't believe our baby boy has blue eyes. We both have dark brown eyes and so does Austin. Forrest had beautiful brown eyes as well. Both my mother and David's mother have blue so sweet Miller inherited their beautiful eyes. We love them and can't get enough of them.
Sadie watching out for the newest member of the clan.
How I see him majority of the time now. Crawling away from me.
Amazed by his shadow.
We are so blessed by this little guy. Such a joy in our homes.
Every once in a while we catch Miller crawling the typical way but majority of the time he is army crawling or just scooting. He gets where he wants, thats for sure.
Last Saturday when it was beautiful outside, we went on a picnic and played at the park.
My mom came in town for the weekend and we enjoyed being outside as much as possible.
We played at the park, ate a picnic at the park, and then went for Mexican that evening.
It was a wonderful day. I enjoyed not bundling the boys up in their winter gear and just enjoying being outside. Sun, sun, come again, come back another day!
