cold day fun

Since it was cold this weekend, we had to think up other fun things to do.  David built a fort for the boys to play in and they loved it.

Miller would climb back and forth under the table to get in the tent and Austin would run in and out 100 times.


 
We are so blessed to have a husband/daddy who loves to play with his boys.

Yes, Miller does have on a bib that says Austin.  I guess that's what happens when you are the third boy.  =)

We took some pictures after church last Sunday with our boys.  We are so blessed by their little lives.

Beautiful afternoon

Last Sunday when it was beautiful outside (unlike today where its rainy and cold) we took the kids to meet David's parents for a walk on the greenline in Memphis.


We had such a nice time. Austin spent time throwing rocks, tromping through the grass, playing with sticks, and doing a lot of running.  He probably ran a mile.






When he wasn't running he was riding on Dingdad's back.  He took quite a few breaks and enjoyed riding on his back.  He only wanted Dingdad though, the rest of us just wouldn't do.


Miller enjoyed riding in the wagon and trying to drink out of his sippy cup.  I'm not sure how successful he is at drinking but he sure does love the way it feels on his teeth.  He just enjoys being along for the ride.


David and his mom enjoyed walking and talking about all the things going on in their life.


And I enjoyed taking pictures of my sweet family.  So blessed.

Sadie dog shirts

One of my best friends and roommates from college started a precious monogramming business in Nashville, Southern Stiches.  She made the boys lab shirts for their precious Sadie.  Austin loves that him and Miller match and loves even more that he has Sadie on his shirt.  I tried and tried to get a good picture. I probably took 120 and only got a few.  I guess that is life with 2 little ones.  Everytime they would start to look at me, Austin would lean in for a tackle or hard hug.  There were lots of "gentle Austin" being said.  Poor Miller.  He's going to be a tough one, that's for sure.

GG came to visit

My mom came to visit over her Spring Break so I could start getting some things done on the house. (We are moving this summer and trying to rent our precious house if you have any potential renters =)

She was a huge help with the boys. It is very difficult to clean out closets, declutter, and pack with a 2 year old and 9 month old. Thankfully she was here to provide some distraction.

I still have a long way to go in the packing regards but it was nice to get a headstart.

The boys love their GG and her dog Buddy.  The first thing Austin would ask when he woke up was "Where's GG, where's Buddy?".

Thanks Mom for spending the week with us.  We loved it.

sweet brothers

The boys are starting to have so much fun playing together.  Austin wakes up in the morning and immediately asks where Memo (Miller) is.  If Miller is still asleep than Austin waits until he wakes up and then goes flying into his room to say good morning.  It is precious.

Miller has always thought Austin hung the moon so he loves that Austin is finally paying attention to him.

We do have to remind Austin to be gentle and that Miller's not quite ready for wrestling (even though you can tell from the pictures that Miller loves to wrestle).




Austin's favorite thing is to play with his trains and its now Miller's favorite thing. The little train table is the perfect height for Miller to pull up too and pull all of Austin's trains off. Majority of the time Austin will share and give 1 train to Miller (usually his least favorite one but at least he's sharing).




We are so thankful for these 2 little guys lives and the joy they bring everyday.


Our prayer is for their love and friendship to one another be stronger than any other.
