Maggie turned 1 month old last Sunday. She is really doing well. She's a good eater just slow. I think she knows its the only time she has her mommy to herself so she takes her time. She's a great sleeper as well. I am very thankful for that. The boys love her and are very sweet to her. At one month old Maggie weighed 9.2 pounds.
Comfort and Joy
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

True joy
We spent last Saturday at Shelby Farms park. The boys loved being outside and David and I loved the fresh air as well. The sequence of pictures below make me think of the word Joy...the boys and David are both showing so much joy in these pictures. I am truly so thankful for a husband and father who loves and adores his boys and knows how important it is to spend quality time with them. So thankful!

Five for Friday
Life is very busy right now but truly so rewarding. Maggie is the sweetest baby and doing so well. She is eating great and sleeping awesome! She has her moments of being upset and fussy but overall she is truly a joy. The boys are doing great with her and taking everything in stride. I am really proud of both of them. They love her and like to say hello to her but for the most part they leave her alone. Miller has had a few moments where he has made me nervous like rocking her car seat a little too hard and trying to shove the paci in her mouth when she was dead asleep but overall they are doing great with her.
So a little Five for Friday...
1. Be still my heart...don't you just want to eat her up? She is such a sweet thing!
2. Miller really does love her and asks to hold her quite often.
3. We had a super fun morning last Saturday. The post tomorrow will share more.
4. The boys found our ski gear and have pretended they are skiing everyday this week. Miller also pretends he is a pirate.
5. I feel like sickness and sadness have been all around lately and yesterday when I opened up Jesus Calling the devotion really spoke to me. You receive this gift (Peace) by trusting Me in the midst of life's storms. Thank Me when things do not go your way, because spiritual blessings come wrapped in trials. ...for I have overcome the world. Trying to trust him and rest in His peace today.
Happy Friday friends!

Life Lately
Last Monday was my 1st day with all 3 kiddos by myself. We survived and were all alive and happy at the end of the day.
On Tuesday I was feeling brave so I went to Target with all 3 by myself. As you can see, there isn't a lot of room for the items I purchased.
Sweet girl had her 2 week check-up on Thursday. She got a great bill of health and is back up to her birth weight.
Miller loves to get his lovies, pillow, and paci and lay down next to his sister. He does love her but I really think he just wants to have his paci.
My brother Matt meeting Maggie when she was only an hour old. So thankful that both of my brothers were here to meet Maggie just moments after she was born. Such a gift!
Friday was beautiful so we headed to My Big Backyard for some outdoor fun.
Unfortunately the weather turned terrible...cold and rainy. I am very thankful for Santa's big gift he brought this Christmas. It was a lifesaver this weekend.
Miller shared his beloved Monkey with Maggie. This was a big deal.
Sweet girl starting to give me a little smile.
Just a little recap of life lately!

Maggie week 1
Some pictures from Maggie's first week:
Her first spongebath...she was not a fan.
My little helper.
My superhero who didn't want to help.
She was very content as soon as I wrapped her up in her duck wrap.
Bright eyed after a feed.
The way I spent my New Years Eve...rocking my sweet baby girl at midnight.
Trying to get pictures of Uncle Toph before he left town. This is real life with 3 kids.
We did a little bribery and got Miller to cooperate.
All my loves in one place. Love this picture of my sweetheart holding our 3 little ones.
My precious kiddos. Such mixed feelings when I see this picture. So much happiness for these 3 beautiful, healthy children but my heart hurts so badly knowing we are missing 1 of our children and will always miss 1 child.
