We had a nice Easter with the kids. Unfortunately the weather was not the best so most of our plans were canceled or changed due to the rain but we still had fun. We went to one of David's partners house for an Egg Hunt. Every year they invite the Peds partners along with the fellows and a few residents and their families to their home for a big Egg Hunt and party. Their son is a freshman in college so they truly just do it for all of our kids. Every year its so much fun. This year we did the hunting in the house but everyone still had a good time.
That afternoon we made our resurrection cookies but unfortunately they didn't turn out. I think its because I had to stop so many times while mixing to tend to 1 kid or another. I think the boys got most of the message. Hopefully next year they will rise and look like an empty tomb.
Saturday night David and I put their Easter baskets together. We went with a meal time theme...you can never have enough place mats, plates, and silverware in our home. =)
The boys coming down from bed to see their baskets.
Sunday morning we took pictures before church. This is a feat in itself to get everyone ready, take pictures, and make it to church on time.
These 2 littles truly have the best relationship. He adores her and she adores him.
In the middle of picture taking I asked Miller to please stop screaming and smile and his feelings got hurt...you can watch in the progression of pictures his pouting.
Sunday night we had my mom and David's parents over for Easter dinner. It was great to be together. I unfortunately didn't bring out the camera until my mom had gone home for the night but the boys loved having her here as well.
We had a wonderful Easter celebrating the resurrection of our Savior!
Christ the Lord is ris’n today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav’ns, and earth, reply, Alleluia!

Happy Easter, Spences! Love all the pictures of your sweeties! I'm still cracking up over Miller's pjs! hahaha! I actually passed that trick along to someone the other day. It's a good one!
Loved getting the Easter recap. And you look BEAUTIFUL in all of these pictures! And can I say how fun it was to see the pretty pink basket among the blue? I think this little lady is going to have it made with all these men and her momma loving on her so hugely. Fun pics!
