Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

9 Months

I'm a little late in posting this but we were in Nashville to welcome our nephew Jonathan into the world.  It's about impossible to get a picture of him on the blanket holding the number.  He just wants to be mobile.

His check-up went great.  He is 19 lbs (35%-40%), 28.5 long (60%), and head is 45 (45%-50%). Our pediatrician was very pleased with how Austin is doing.  He loves to try new foods.  We have tried green beans, waffles, toast, corn, yogurt, turkey, ham, cheese, mac n cheese, squash, pears, peaches, cantelope, grapes,  and blueberries.  He likes most of them but still doesn't like his greens.  He is doing great on his developmental milestones.  Dr. Hanson thinks he is very close to walking.  He stands up on his own but hasn't taken a step yet without our help.  Austin also loves to sleep.  He takes 2 great naps a day and sleeps 12-13 hours at night (without waking up).  He is the happiest little guy.  He laughs and smiles all day long.  He is such a joy.

He seems so long! I can't believe he is only 60% because he looks so long and lean!
