On December 23, the Forrest Spence Fund provided a Christmas dinner to families whose children were admitted over the holidays. Over 100 family members were fed a warm meal, given encouraging words, and left with a book or 2 to read to their sick child. It was an amazing night that I will not forget. We had so many friends and family come to serve. A sweet family that I got to know while being at Le Bonheur (they had a grandchild at LB) provided most of the food. He is in the food business so it was a perfect fit. We were thrilled to give a little back to others.

I didn't know you were doing that! What a wonderful, wonderful thing. Forrest continues to shine Jesus' light down here. We'd love to be a part of this next year.
