Today is David's birthday (and his twin sisters Anne's birthday too...Happy Birthday Anne!). I am so thankful for this man. He has blessed my life in so many ways. What a joy to be celebrating his birthday for the 15th time together. I love birthdays and I love celebrating the ones I love so this one is especially fun to me because of how much I love this man! Happy birthday honey...your biggest fans are so thankful for your life! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
He is the best dad...
And the best husband and best friend a girl could ask for!
We love you and are so thankful for your life! Happy birthday!
Comfort and Joy
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

5 months
This sweet girl turned 5 months on Monday! Seriously...where did the time go? I think she was just born!!! I love this little girl more than words can describe. She has been such a gift to our family and is so very loved by all of us. The boys are just as smitten with her as David and I.
Things she loves:
-her brothers - she now belly laughs at them daily. She thinks they are the funniest things and loves watching them.
-her daddy and mommy
-faces
-smiles from others
-bath time
-being on the diaper changing table
-play mat
-bouncer
-her fingers
-lovie
-naps
-hands
-feet
-food
Things she doesn't love:
-dirty diapers
Some big changes happened with our sweet girl from months 4 to 5. She sleeps through the night...woo hoo! She takes 2 awesome naps and 1 cat nap. She is the easiest thing to put down to sleep. I just put her in her sleep sac, close the curtains, turn on the sound machine, sing Jesus Loves Me and put her in her crib awake and thats it. She rolls on her side, sticks her fingers in her mouth, grabs her lovie and goes to sleep. It is AMAZING! Both my boys were good about putting themselves to sleep but she awesome! She is no longer swaddled, out of the nap nanny, doesn't take a paci, sucks her fingers, eats food, and rolls from her tummy to her back. It was a big month for her.
She also weighs 16.1 lbs!
Some pictures of our sweet girl!
Happy 5 months precious girl! We love you to the moon and back!

Five for Friday
Random post of Five for Friday:
1. We have been trying to walk/scooter ride outside as much as possible to burn much needed energy from my boys. Sometimes they get tired and hitch a ride with me. I'm hoping pushing these 3 will get me in shape. I am completely out of shape.
2. Love that my high school girls are back in town. Can't believe they just finished their freshman year of college...I feel old. I started working with these girls at the start of their 7th grade year. What a joy they are to my life!
3. Sweet Maggie tried food for the first time. She makes a big mess but definitely enjoys it. The boys loved having her at the table with us eating.
4. Maggie's cheeks are so big her paci left an imprint on her face. =)
5. Miller went flying a couple weeks ago with Dingdad. This was his first time to fly in the Pacer and be up front. This picture doesn't show how much he really enjoyed it. He loved the one on one time with Dingdad and flying in the Pacer. I think I now I have 2 little boys that love flying!
Happy Friday friends! Hope you have a great weekend!

CMDS Field Day and end of the year
Austin's last week of school has come and gone. I truly can't believe he is finished with Pre-K. He is so excited about being in JK and doesn't understand why it doesn't start immediately. He has asked at least 100 times when we are going to the beach and when does Jr-K start. I love that he LOVES school! Such a joy! I have heard friends with older children say May is like December just without Christmas and it is so true...it is so busy. There was something at Austin's school almost every day he was there. He loved it though so that's what counts.
This is his precious best buddy. So thankful for him and his family!
The kids did a relay race where they had to gather items to dress their teachers in and the first teacher dressed in all the stuff and in the hula hoop won. The teachers looked great.
We have loved every part of this year at CMDS. Truly a gift to have these 2 teachers!
Dingdad and Gigi made it to Field Day as well.
Our old neighbor Kennedy was in another Pre-K class.
Last Wednesday was his end of the year program. They sang a lot of songs that were a tribute to their year in Pre-k. Austin wasn't very into it this year. He said he was tired and just really didn't want to sing. =)
My sweet boy and sweet girl joined me at the program. They both enjoyed it.
His favorite girl.
His precious teacher Mrs. Griesbeck and favorite assistant Mrs. Grace. Going to miss these 2 terribly next year.
My little loves and I. So thankful for each of their lives!
Yaya and Dingdad made the program.
Dingdad loving on his newest granddaughter. He is one lucky man...he has lots of little girls that adore him...3 granddaughters.

Jesus Loves the Little Children...
On Mother's Day Maggie was baptized at our church. It was such a special day for our family.
We love our church and it means so much to me that David and I were married in the same church 3 of my children were baptized in and 1 child's memorial service took place. Richie Sessions, Senior Pastor, has baptized our children and also preached Forrest's memorial service. The Lord has truly blessed this man with the words from Him and a loving, caring spirit. He has loved our family through the good, bad, and ugly and we love that he has been a special part of all of our childrens lives.
The baptism gown is over 100 years old. It was made by my great great grandmother for her grandson's baptism (my grandfather). He wore it along with my mom, my brothers and I, and now my 3 children. It is in perfect condition and just gorgeous. I bought the bonnet for my sweet girl...love the bonnet!
Maggie did perfect during the service. She was tired but you wouldn't even know it. She was laid back and happy in David's arms and then Richies. After the baptism she fell asleep in my arms and stayed asleep through Richie's entire sermon.
The boys were good as well. I was worried Austin was going to pull my dress up because he kept walking around me and grabbing at it but thankfully it stayed down. \
Miller took part in all the different parts of the service. This was during the singing of a hymn. He opened the hymnal just like daddy and started to sing.
The beautiful flowers were given by my Senior High Small Group girls in honor of Maggie and in memory of Forrest. It was a beautiful arrangement! I am so thankful for them.
My precious family!
So thankful for our grandparents.
Love my sweet girl!
The beautiful cake we had made to celebrate her special day.
