I can't believe its almost been a week since the race. I promise to do a race recap soon. I don't have the pictures back for the photographer yet so I want to wait to do the recap until I get them back. So I am doing a Five for Friday instead.
1. My 4 beautiful babies. Still can't believe I have 2 gorgeous brown eyed babies and 2 beautiful blue eyed babies. David and I both have brown so its fun to see 2 of my babies get blue like their 2 grandma's.
2. Last week before the race I obviously had this little guy on my heart and mind all the time. Oh how I miss him but I am so proud of him and his legacy.
3. These 3 have my heart. The bow is over the top and I love it! The boys are obsessed with their medals. They didn't win them but they have enjoyed the extras that mommy has around the house.
4. Little bit turned 8 months old on Tuesday. I will do her 8 month post soon but thought I would post one on here. She is such a joy!
5. This is life around here. My oldest LOVES legos. His grandparents have tons so he is in heaven over there. Aunt Deborah took this and I love how she captured him in his element.
Happy Friday friends! Hope you have a great Labor Day weekend!
Comfort and Joy
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

8 months
Maggie turned 8 months on August 27th. Months 7-8 were more big months for her. She is cutting her top two teeth and possibly some more. She can now go from sitting to laying down and back up to sitting. I looked in during nap time one day and saw her sitting up on her own. I ran in quickly and laid her back down and then lowered the bed when she woke up. She is getting around a little but not crawling. She is getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth but hasn't moved forward yet. She still loves food and enjoys eating with us at meal time. She takes 2 naps a day. One nap is usually short and one nap is longer. She still sleeps awesome at night. She had another ear infection which makes at least #5. She was so happy though that the doctor didn't believe she had one until he looked in and said it looked terrible. She is still very laid back and just goes with the flow. The best baby!
Things she loves:
-her brothers!!!
-her daddy and mommy
-faces
-smiles from others
-bath time
-being on the diaper changing table
-sitting up
-her teething toys like Sophie
-exersaucer
-jumperoo
-her fingers
-food
-lovie
-naps
-hands
-feet
Things she doesn't love:
-being hot (which is difficult since we live in Memphis)
She weighed 18.9 at the doctor the other day.
Some pictures of our sweet girl!
Miller stood over her and dropped the 8 when I told him too because as soon as she grabbed it she would rip it apart.
She also tried to eat it numerous times.
Still can't believe I have 2 blue eyed babies.
Showing me how she's ready to crawl.
My littlest guy decided to lay down next to her. He cracks me up!
I adore these 2. He is so good with her and truly loves her with his whole heart.
He wanted to hold her hand and keep her still because she kept flipping over.
Happy 8 months baby girl! We can't imagine life without you in it. You truly make life so much sweeter.

Life lately
Some pictures of life lately.
We met our BFF's at the playground the other day. Sweet, sweet girls! Truly can't wait to watch them grow up together.
I posted this one on Instagram with the quote 'Life with boys. One chose to pee on a tree in the yard instead of the perfectly good toilet in our house and the other one wears a flashlight on his hat in case of emergency.' There is something special about little boys.
Her first bow. I am totally smitten with this little girl. Can't wait for many more bows in her hair.
I was uploading pictures from my phone to the computer and found these. I laughed out loud at her...just laid back straight chillin.
Here's a video to show that she did enjoy her pool and she has a big brother that just loves her.
Another video that reminds me of a little dove. I love her little sounds.
I looked over from cooking the other day and saw my sweet boy playing with his baby sister. LOVED seeing him loving on her. She adores him.

Playing with Aunt Deborah and Uncle Jack
We had a great time visiting with Aunt Deborah and Uncle Jack. It had been way too long since we saw them so it was great to catch up and introduce Maggie to them.
Maggie loved Uncle Jack and Aunt Deborah. She loved the feel of Uncle Jack's beard.
Maggie did some yoga while we were hanging out. =)
Uncle Jack trapped the boys to get a picture.
Thank you Deborah and Jack for stopping in to visit. It was so great to see you.

Five for Friday
1. We saw Planes with the boys this past weekend. Really cute movie. Perfect for my plane loving little boys. Miller woke up the next morning and the first thing he said was "mom, can we go back to the movies today and eat popcorn.' We plan on seeing more movies together in the future.
He was so little he couldn't keep the seat down on his own.
2.We had a FSF dinner at Le Bonheur last Thursday night. We are so blessed by the BEST volunteers. The turnout was amazing...we fed over 120 people in less than 40 minutes.
3. My brother Matt came in town last week. The kids had fun making funny faces with him. So glad we got to see him.
4. David's aunt and uncle came to visit on Friday. It was so good to see them. I will post more pictures on another blog post but wanted to put this up as a recap from last last weekend.
5. I took the kids to visit Forrest's gravesite the other day. Austin had mentioned a few times that he wanted to take him fresh flowers so we did. Bittersweet for sure.
Happy Friday friends! 8 days till race day...the countdown is on!
