We woke up early Sunday morning to make it to the 8:30 church service. We were doing great on time and had even packed the stroller with intentions of going after church to the opening day of the SoWa Market with vendors and farmers market. As we got closer to church we realized that every street we take to church and also park on were closed do to a huge race in Boston Commons. We couldn't even get to church. Another bust!
We then drove to the Back Bay to eat at our favorite bakery, Flour, and wait on the SoWa market to open at 10. While we were there the clouds moved in and the nice, pretty, semi-warm day turned cold, dark, and windy. We tried walking around a little and stopping to play at a playground but everyone was just too cold. We loaded back up in the car and didn't even make it to the market. Another bust!
David really needs some new pants so we decided to try a few stores close by. Wouldn't you know that all the stores didn't open till 11:00. It was only 10:00 and we weren't about to wait around for an hour. Another bust!
If I learned anything this weekend it was...go with the flow. Don't get so uptight over expectations and plans and just make the best of what you are given. This is much easier said than done for me. I like plans and expectations so going with the flow is super hard for me.
We ended our Sunday morning by renting a movie (Happy Feet because the boys love dancing and penguins so it was a good pick) and just snuggling on the pull out bed together. All in all..I couldn't complain.
I know I need to leave this post with a picture so my family will be pleased to see their grandbabies.

Early morning fixing of the bike. Austin wanted to make it shorter so brother could ride it. Truly the sweetest big brother. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was already the shortest it could go because he's on the little side himself.
