Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Bakery, aquarium, eating outside, oh my...

We had another fun weekend in Boston.  David was on call so that requires us to stay in the city.  We try to spend time in a different area of Boston on his on call weekends.  This weekend we roamed around the South End.  We started Saturday morning with a visit to a famous bakery called Flour.  Friends from home told us it was a must visit and I have to agree.  The sticky buns were amazing!

After our delicious breakfast and seeing parts of the South End, we headed to the New England Aquarium.  David's parents bought us a season pass so we plan on making lots of trips. IMG_4278
Miller loved watching the fish swim by. IMG_4280 IMG_4281
They both loved the penguins. IMG_4287

In the middle of the building is a massive aquarium filled with all kinds of fish, sea turtles, and a shark. I think it was at least 4 stories high and you could see the aquarium from every floor. IMG_4291 IMG_4292 IMG_4298 IMG_4309 IMG_4317 IMG_4315
It had some great exhibits.

On Sunday we enjoyed worship at our church, nice naps for everyone, and eating dinner outside.

I love reading about your Boston adventures! (Have I already said that? Probably, but I do!) We watched them feed lettuce to that turtle for the longest time. It was so cool! And I had forgotten about the penguins. Keep having fun!
