As I was looking at our tree last night I was comforted by the special ornaments on our tree in memory of our little guy.
Socks he wore while he was at Le Bonheur that a sweet friend sewed together for our tree.
A friend remembering our special angel the following year.
Grandma's giving ornaments so he would have a special spot on the tree.
We miss him so much and holidays are hard but we are so thankful for the reminder...
"Joy to the World...
the Lord has come."
One day the Lord will come again and we will be reunited with our precious firstborn. I can't wait to lay my eyes on him when that day comes but for now I have been called to be here with my other loved ones and love and serve them with my whole heart. Some days its hard but I am thankful for the sweet reminders on our tree that he is a part of us everyday.

I love reading your blog! I never comment, but this post was just too precious not to. His sweet legacy lives on and blesses the lives of so many! Thank you so much for all you did for my family while we were at LeBonheur, and for being so willing to share your story with me! It was such a scary time for us, but it meant the world to have someone to talk to who truly "got it!" I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
so sweet.
