Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Christmas recap

We had a wonderful Christmas with our family.  Our house was full of love, laughter, and lots of people...just the way I like it.  The boys were in hog heaven because so many of their favorite people were in one place.  We started Christmas Eve morning by baking cookies for Santa.

My mom and David's parents met us at church for Christmas Eve service. IPC had a precious family service that my boys enjoyed.

Austin was not in the mood for pictures after church.  Their faces in the next few pictures crack me up.  Real life with 2 little boys.IMG_8003 IMG_8004 IMG_8007 IMG_8008 IMG_8013
My 2 brothers and sister in law came into town right before dinner.  We celebrated that night with low key dinner and enjoyed doing all the fun traditions with the boys like putting out reindeer food.

After we left food for the reindeer's we came in to read the Christmas Story, the birth of Jesus, and a precious book my mom bought (totally forgot the name of it). IMG_8024 IMG_8025 IMG_8027 IMG_8029
I couldn't sleep that night (9 months pregnant and Christmas Eve) so I woke up early to fix breakfast for the clan. It was so much fun to see the boys come down the stairs that morning. They were so precious! IMG_8030 IMG_8032
We were spoiled...especially the boys and baby sister. IMG_8034 IMG_8035
After a great breakfast together we started to open gifts. We do 1 gift a time and everyone oohs and aahs over the gift.

It was truly a wonderful Christmas and I am so thankful for the blessing of our families.
