Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

View of life lately...

Life for the boys lately consists of a LOT of legos!  They love them and spend majority of their time building new things with the legos.

Mommy actually built this one for Miller.  I think building legos is actually a stress reliever for me.  I really enjoy sitting down building new things with them. Untitled
As you can tell, it often looks like a bomb has gone off in our house while they are playing with legos.  I haven't figured out the best way for the boys to play with them when Maggie becomes mobile.  Any ideas?  I like the boys still being close to me so enjoy them playing in the den but I don't want her getting to them.

Gigi babysat the other night and did a craft with the boys. I thought it was very enlightening to see the way they both decorated their butterflies. Austin's is the symmetrical one and Miller's is the one with tons on there. It is definitely a resemblance to their personalities and birth order. Untitled
David and I went on a date to Live at the Garden with some friends.  It was a perfect night.  The weather was amazing, the company was wonderful, the concert was fun, and I LOVED having quality time with David.  Truly a great night! On a date with this hottie!

I once again have 2 kids with sicknesses. Miller is getting over a respiratory infection and Maggie is (hopefully) getting over a double ear infection. We truly can't get well. It has been a rough few weeks with sickness for us. I took Miller on Thursday to the doctor and afterwards we went and found daddy. David was in surgery when we first showed up so we waited on him to finish. He brought Miller a surgeon cap and Miller was pretty proud to wear it. He kept telling me afterwards that he was going to be a surgeon when he was older like daddy. Such a treat to see daddy after our trip to the doctor. Miller is not feeling well so this helped brighten his spirits. #futuresurgeon
Happy Monday!

Those legos look like too much fun! Did you ever figure out how to "fix" that playmat? I'll be needing one of those before too long. Even the girls are getting in to them. I could have picked out who made which butterfly with no problem! It makes me laugh to see how similar birth order is at your house and ours. Hope Miller is feeling better now. GET WELL over there! :-)
