Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Five for Friday

1. These 2 were so sweet to watch (and sweat like crazy because it was so hot) as their brother practiced football for the first time. Untitled
I still can't believe I have a child old enough to be playing flag football...I think he was just born yesterday.

2. We met my mom at the Germantown Festival last Saturday. The boys were excited about getting a picture with the monster truck. Untitled We were poured on not long after this picture was taken.  Literally the clouds opened and the rain came down in buckets.  It was an adventerous Saturday to say the least.

3. Sunday mornings I think the devil works overtime in my home because it is never peaceful or sweet but when I turned around last Sunday morning walking into church and saw this...I took a deep breath and said thank you Lord. They are messy, disobedient, and often drive me crazy but I wouldn't want my life to look any different. Untitled Untitled

4.  This Monday, September 15th I am hosting a Matilda Jane Show at my home from 6:00-8:00.  Feel free to bring your kids.  10% of each order will be donated back to the Forrest Spence Fund.  Cutest clothes for girls and women.  Some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe (and Maggie's wardrobe) have come from Matilda Jane.  Great quality and style.  Come shop and give back to the Fund at the same time.  Hope to see you Monday night.

If you can't make it to the show than you can check out the clothes online https://www.matildajaneclothing.com and email Alicia with your wish list (her info is below) and she will make sure it counts towards the FSF.  Save the date for next Monday, September 15th from 6:00-8:00 at my house for a Matilda Jane show. Cutest clothes for girls and women. Feel free to bring your kids. 10% of each order will be donated to the Forrest Spence Fund. If you can't come in person

5.  I found this bed online that I LOVE but have no idea where to find it. Any ideas the best place to look?  I would really love to get an old iron bed for Maggie's room in a full or queen size. Untitled

Happy Friday friends!  Hope you have a great weekend!

The bed could be vintage Corsican. They are an upscale iron bed brand. Also try Restoration Hardware baby & child, they have a few vintage style iron bed options. Hope that helps! :)
