Comfort and Joy

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will
give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Five for Friday

1.  David and I are getting a night away thanks to my mom.  We are staying at this resort in Chatham, MA.  It is located in the elbow of Cape Cod.  We are really excited about spending time together without our children.  I hope to relax, eat good food, sleep in, and sit on the porch watching this view.

2.  The weather was beautiful for a few days and then unfortunately turned cold again.  The 10 day forecast says its going to warm up again starting Sunday.  We have definitely taken advantage of the warm days.
First day this year playing with sidewalk chalk
3.  My 1/2 marathon is this Sunday.  I have felt great through my training and just this week have felt a little sore and achy.  Hoping I can hold out until after Sunday from any injuries or real soreness.

4.  My best friends from college are coming in 1 week!  I am sooo excited about showing them the city we have fallen in love with.  I have been truly blessed by incredible friendships over my lifetime.  I love that these 3 girls and I still get together once a year.

We love Chatham (my husband's parents live just north of it in Orleans) - make sure you have some clam chowder at The Squire. And pick up the boys some fudge from the Candy Manor. Enjoy!

Love it Suzanne! We loved Chatham. We ate at the Squire but the candy manor was closed. The Cape is beautiful!
