Music Class

This past Monday we finished up our 9 week Music Class.  The boys and I loved it!  The class was perfect for both boys and one of their best buddies was in the class with them.  We are going to miss our little music class.

Getting started with our class IMG_6046
Shaking their music eggs IMG_6052 IMG_6056
Playing under the parachute while listening to music IMG_6064
Miller loved being under the parachute, Austin always wanted to be close to me so he would help hold the parachute in the air.

William loved being under the parachute as well. IMG_6083
There was always some free time with the instruments where the children picked whatever instrument they wanted to play with.  It was always fun to see what they picked.

Towards the end of class Michael (our teacher) would play a lullaby while the kids laid down on a pillow.

Miller decided he wanted to lay down on the other side of the room. IMG_6108

After the goodbye song the kids would run up to give Michael a hug. Miller did it everytime but Austin never wanted to do it. Their little personalities are so different. IMG_6112
Michael would then let the kids strum his guitar which Miller always did as well.IMG_6116
I hope to take a class similar to this in Memphis with just Miller while Austin is in school.  Miller loved the class the most and is very into music.  He clicks his tongue numerous times a day which means he wants me to play "Trot Old Joe".  We know most of the songs by heart.

Looks like so much fun! I already miss the days of being able to do things like that with my kiddos :)
